We are working with a lovely small animal hospital practice in Basingstoke, Hampshire that is looking to recruit an experienced Veterinary Surgeon on a full-time permanent basis.

From their purpose-built hospital, they utilise the state of the art equipment and have unrivaled facilities to make pets feel relaxed and comfortable at all times.
The Role and Candidate:
This exciting role is permanent and full-time, where you will be working 48 hours per week. Which shift patterns will include:
- A 4-day working week with additional time off following a weekend
- 1 in 5 weekday on-call (phones to vets now 8 pm-8 am)
- 1.5 / 5 weekends (phones to vets now between 8pm-8am Fri/Sat and 8pm-11am Sat/Sun and 5pm-8am Sun/Mon)
All of your work will be worked up to a high standard and have a true passion for delivering first-class service to patients and clients alike. There is a duty nurse on-site for overnight inpatient care.
Our client is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon and there is funding for certificates available to the right candidate.
The Salary and Benefits:
In return for all your dedication and hard work our client is offering a competitive package that includes:
- Salary £45,000 p/a (DOE) plus bonus (equivalent to 20-22k for tax year 19-20)
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and birthday
- Funding for certificates available to the right candidate
