Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Northampton

We are recruiting on behalf of an expanding, friendly, and experienced vet team in Northampton that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is looking for a Vet with good knowledge of basic surgery and confidence in consulting.

The Practice:

This practice has separate dog and cat waiting areas in the reception area helps to make visits as stress-free as possible. They also have modern equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and an in-house lab.

There is also have a small shop that sells toys, premium food, and accessories.

When the time comes, they have a separate room for saying goodbye to a beloved pet, giving clients the opportunity to take the time they need.

The Role and Candidate:

The ideal candidate will work with the team to continue the growth of the surgery and clinical development of the practice with a good knowledge of basic surgery and confidence with consultations. You will be working alongside the clinical director but there will be some sole charge in the role. Their well-equipped practice and varied caseload will enable you to pursue your own clinical interests.

This is a full-time permanent role where there are no OOH requirements and the weekend rota is alternate Sat mornings only with time off in lieu for Saturdays worked.

The Package:

Our client is offering an excellent package, depending on experience, that includes:-

• Competitive Salary : between £33,000 - £50,000 dependent on skills & experience
• 33 days annual leave inc bank holidays

• RCVS & VDS fees paid
