We are currently working with an RCVS accredited practice based in the beautiful county of Oxfordshire. The practice is currently looking to recruit a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
Our client is an RCVS accredited veterinary hospital with a branch practice and has a dedicated team of 9 vets and 9 RVNs plus a support team They provide 24-hour emergency cover & staff training. They have excellent facilities including x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, ECG, fluid therapy, blood sampling in their on-site laboratory, and 24-hour nursing care.
The Role and Candidate:
This is a full-time permanent position, working 40 hours per week, 8:30 -17:00, 18:00, or 19:00 on a rota basis. The shift pattern includes 1 in 6 nights & weekends for inpatient checks with time off in lieu & 1:6 Saturday 8.30 - 13.00. NO OOHs. Duties include nurse consults, general nursing duties, and assisting in theatre.
This position would suit a dedicated registered veterinary nurse who is keen to progress. Confident, with good communication skills, and able to display some ‘get up and go’.
