We are working with a practice based in the lovely old market town of Launceston, Cornwall that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full or part-time permanent basis.
The Practice:
The Practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and is purpose built to industry leading standards with gold standard equipment including digital x-ray, in-house laboratory facilities, dedicated dog, cat, and iso wards. They have a very varied and interesting caseload which includes exotics and a high amount of insured clients providing lots of opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills within the practice. Launceston is a picturesque town based on the border between Cornwall and Devon and is easily reachable just off of the A30.
The Role:
This position is for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon. The position is flexible full/part time and will include weekends and OOH from time to time. Successful applicants should be confident in an occasional sole charge role and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues. You will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care and the ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible with good general surgical and medical skills and experience in emergency surgery.
The Candidate:
The successful applicant will have great people skills, a good general surgical and medical background, will work well in a team and be confident with some sole charge. You must also have good communication skills and enjoy building relationships with clients, the patients and the practice team.
