We are working with a practice based in Reading, Berkshire that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis
The Practice:
This practice offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. . By joining the practice you will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care and as this role plays a key part within a small, friendly team the ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible. The practice has a family feel and a real presence in the community.
The Role:
This position is for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon. The position is full-time and will include some weekends on a rota basis but no out of hours, leading to a good work/life balance. Successful applicants should be confident in an occasional sole charge role and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues.
The Candidate:
Applicants must have good general surgical and medical skills, providing the best client and patient care. You must also be able to work as part of a team with great communication skills. There is no OOH but some sole charge required with this role. The practice has good anaesthetic and diagnostic equipment to allow plenty of learning and progression.
