We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established practice in Mid Hampshire that is looking for an experienced Vet to join their team.

The Practice: 

Our client is an established, caring family orientated practice serving mid-Hampshire. The practice provides comprehensive care to clients and their animals, from giant breed dogs to small mammals and exotics. They are privately owned, which enables them to put pet care first and evolve as Veterinary medicine improves. 

Facilities within the practice include Theatre, separate dog and cat wards, CT scanner, laparoscopic surgery, x-ray, endoscope, imaging, ultrasound, and orthopaedic equipment. 

The Role and Candidate: 

This is a full-time role and is to join a team of 50 staff, including 8 FTE Veterinary Surgeons and 18 Nurses. 

The role is a 4.5 day week, working either 8.30-18.30 or 8.30-12.00. 

There is 1 night per week on-call mid-week, with 1:4 weekends.

Weekends are 1:4 working Saturday 9.00-12.00 plus weekend on call. 

To qualify for this role, you must have at least 2 years of relevant experience or be comfortable with all routine consults and ops. 

The Package:

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary starting from £40,000 p/a (DOE) + 28 days holiday including bank holidays + CPD
