You will be joining an experienced and established clinical team made up of 5 vets and 13 veterinary nurses. The team benefits from a variety of individual interests including certificate holders in medicine, endoscopy and exotics and one team member working towards their certificate in surgery as well as two members of the nursing team holding advanced diplomas. Due to the wealth of experience within the existing team, the full-time role would suit a recently qualified vet looking for a supportive practice. The part-time role would be suited to a more experienced vet who is comfortable with some sole charge responsibility.

The Role:
Our client is looking for highly motivated and ambitious permanent veterinary surgeons. The full-time position will consist of 40 hours per week with a 1 in 3-weekend rota. The part-time position will be approx. 25 hours per week from 6.00 pm -10.00 pm Monday to Friday and a 1 in 3-weekend rota. There is scope to add additional hours to cover holiday etc. if required.

The Candidate:
The team is looking for a vet with a real client/patient focus and the ability and desire to build strong, long-term relationships. You will have good time management and organisational skills and enjoy working as part of a team. You will be joining a busy practice, therefore, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the variety that it brings! It is rare for cases to be referred outside of the practice and team members are encouraged and supported to work up their own cases to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will be competent with general surgery and emergency procedures. There may be periods of sole charge so you must be comfortable with this.

Our client offers a great package and benefits including a competitive salary, CPD, comprehensive benefits and a full range of exclusive discounts for use within the group.
