We are currently working on behalf of a small animal practice in Lancashire who are looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. 

The Client:
This is a friendly and progressive practice that has invested well and continues to do so. Our clients’ have a large fully-equipped operating suite for surgery, dental treatment, x-rays and ultrasound, with separate dog and cat wards. Their professional team is committed to providing quality care and treatment to all pets. Our clients’ extensive facilities and services include Health checks, In-house laboratory, radiology, ultrasound, haematology, biochemistry, dental hygiene, blood tests, micro-chipping and full operating facilities. Our clients' treat small animals and exotic's including birds, ferrets and rabbits.

The Role:
Our clients’ require an experienced veterinary surgeon to work 4 days per week then 1 in 4 on the Saturday morning rota.  You will be joining a team of 3 other vets having strong careers to learn from.  Excellent nursing and support staff compliment the team.  Ideally, the practice would like someone to work Monday until 7.00 pm and to 6.00 pm on other days.  Saturday mornings would be the only sole charge required.  The practice deals with a broad case-load including exotics, though could happily take on someone that is looking to advance a speciality. Caesareans and cruciate ligament surgery is common at the practice.

Salary: Dependent on Experience plus CPD Allowance, RCVS fees and VDS fees paid. Pension enrolment.
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
