We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Equine Veterinary Surgeon (Racing Bias) on a full-time basis to start at a friendly practice based in North Yorkshire.
The Practice
Our client has a purpose-built Equine Department of their veterinary practice that has a superb reputation dedicated to providing quality professional care for horses in numerous equestrian disciplines. Their practice has a highly experienced and qualified nine-vet team working from three sites across North Yorkshire. The original clinic boasts excellent surgical and medical facilities with an in-house CEMO accredited laboratory whilst simultaneously providing an ambulatory service 24/7. Our client also has branch practices in North Yorkshire that are primarily ambulatory practices, with some in-patient facilities, offering a full service including digital radiography and ultrasound, lameness investigation, airway endoscopy and stud services. They are sure every needs of every horse from the athletic racehorse to a child’s pony will be fulfilled to their customary high standard.
The Role:
This role is for a permanent Equine Veterinary Surgeon with a racing bias and experience in thoroughbred racing. The position is full-time working between two branches. The exact working pattern is to be discussed. There is a generous time off in lieu for any weekends worked.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have at least three years experience primarily in racing practice.
