We are currently recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice based in Melton Mowbray who are looking for a hard working permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full-time basis. They are a proud independent small animal vet practice. The ideal candidate will have 3 - 4 years’ experience. Competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum dependent on experience.
The Practice:
Our client is a dedicated, small animal practice based in Melton Mowbray who pride themselves on providing an excellent patient care and being able to understand the needs and concerns of each individual pet. As a relatively new practice, their practice is equipped with the latest equipment and are able to provide a 24-hour emergency service, ensuring a continuity of care. They have separate dog and cat wards and a spacious prep area which leads to a dedicated operating theatre.
The Role:
This is a full-time position working a 4 day week, with 1 late night per week. You will be joining a team of friendly, knowledgeable vets who are able to provide support if needed. There will be occasional sole charge over the weekend which the rota is 1 in 4, which is on-call with a 2-hour clinic on a Saturday morning.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate must be confident with clients and have good knowledge, they are very client orientated and have the best interest of each individual animal.
The position would suit a candidate with 3 -4 years’ experience and the opportunity to complete a certificate is on offer and is supported by the practice.
In return the practice is offering a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience and is negotiable for the right person. Benefits include RCVS fees, local health club membership, 5 days CPD with an allowance of £1500 - £2000
