Veterinary Surgeon

Location: New South Wales, Australia

Our client is looking for a full-time small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive, friendly team based on the Central Coast in New South Wales.

The Practice:

This is a purpose-built facility on the stunning Central Coast of NSW. Our client's facility boasts not one but two surgeries, separate dog and cat areas, isolation and imaging rooms and is also equipped with large animal stabling facilities and equipment towards the rear of the building.

With being able to offer diagnostic imaging, and with in-house laboratory equipment, our client's dedicated team pride themselves on using the latest equipment and medical procedures to ensure that each pet receives the highest quality care available whether they are large or small, have fur, feathers or scales. 

The Role:

Full-time small animal Veterinary Surgeon. Working within a large hospital environment – you will gain experience in a fast paced yet rewarding atmosphere along with the opportunity to work with a remarkable team of dedicated and passionate Veterinarians and Nurses.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia
  • At least two years work experience working in a veterinary clinic – both consultative and surgical preferred, but not essential
  • Ability to work with fellow team members and build rapport with clients
  • A positive ‘can do’ & friendly attitude
  • A desire to grow yourself and develop your career
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

Salary: Between £63,000 - £82,000 dependent on Experience
