We are working with a client who is looking for a board certified Orthopaedic vet or a vet who has completed a residency and is ready to sit their specialist exams. (Very strong AVP’s will be considered)

This is a busy, purpose-built referral hospital in Wiltshire.

The Role:
You will work 4 days per week hours between 8:30 am and 7:00 pm, 1:4 Weekends shared with the other specialist vet’s, no mid-week OOH’s as such, however as a specialist there is the expectation that you are responsible for all of your cases. When on call at the weekend, it is at the discretion of the individual surgeon as to what cases you would accept or refer on. There is already a very experienced head or orthopaedics in the hospital, but due to the high volume of cases, you will work alongside this vet.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be board level certified or a diplomate, have completed a residency or close to sitting there specialist exams (very strong AVP’s will be considered).
Salary:
£125,000- Board Certified
£100,000- Close to board certification
£80,000- AVP
CPD: 7 days CPD- £2,200
Pension: 3%
Holiday: 6 weeks Holiday
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
