We are currently working for a modern, purpose-built independent practice based in a delightful town on the east coast of Lincolnshire. They are expanding and therefore require a small animal veterinary surgeon to join their friendly, caring team.
This is a delightful one site practice which because it is purpose built is fully equipped with a large range of fantastic facilities including, reception area, diagnostics, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, in-house laboratory, ophthalmic diagnostic equipment, endoscopy, dedicated operating theatres, separate cat & dog ward, intensive care unit plus parking. This is a growing practice with a thriving and loyal client base. They currently have a team of 5 vets, 3 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 2 ANAs and a superb support team. This is a first opinion practice where training towards taking a certificate is strongly encouraged in fact 3 of their current staff are on their way to completing certificates in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, and emergency and critical care. The practice always aims to provide a high quality and caring service to all clients and pets. They welcome owners and their pets including, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, birds, poultry & reptiles.
This is a full-time role working 4 days per week, with shifts between 7.30- 19.30.
With 1:4 weekends which only requires working the Saturday 7:30 am -3:00 pm then on call with the phone, you can stay at the practice or go home dependent on your commute.
This is a very busy, yet very friendly practice. The ideal applicant will have very good communication skills enjoy working with clients and building relationships, be keen to learn and possibly be interested in taking a certificate and be happy working as part of a team.

Hours: Full Time 4 days
WE/On Call: 1:4 Saturday's then on call
OOHs: 1 night per week on call
Salary: Competitive + generous holiday plus bank holidays + RCVS/VDS fees paid + private healthcare + OOHs bonus scheme + assistance with accommodation for the first six months if relocating.
To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
