We are working with a fantastic independent practice in Rye, East Sussex, who are in search of a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent, full or part-time basis.
The Practice:
This surgery is one of a group of branch practices across the area, with a hospital practice as the main hub. There are 1.5 full-time equivalent vets at this particular practice. They have a large reception, two consultation rooms, x-ray room, hospital ward, theatre, and their own practice ambulance.
The Role:
The practice is looking for either a full-time or part-time veterinary surgeon.
As a full time, a vet would be required to work weekdays from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, with one late finish per week starting at 10:00 am and finishing at 7:00 pm. Saturdays are required on a rota of 1:4, working from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Vets undertake both consultations and operations.
This is a fairly quiet practice, and some sole charge will be required.
In return, the practice can offer a salary from £40,000 upwards depending on experience, along with RCVS fees, CPD allowance of £1,500, pension scheme and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
The Candidate:
The practice is looking to receive applications from veterinary surgeons with at least 2 years of experience in practice. The vet will be confident and competent enough to work sole charge when required.
