We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a full or part-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
The Practice
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services You will be joining a friendly and supportive team made up of 3 part time vets and 1 full-time vet, 3 RVNs, 1 student nurse and 1 part-time veterinary care assistant.
The Role:
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious full or part-time veterinary surgeon on a permanent basis This role has a generous weekend rota of no more than 2 weekend days every 4 weeks with time in lieu the following week. There is no out of hours responsibility with this role and only occasional sole charge.
The Candidate:
The Practice is seeking a vet with excellent communication skills and confidence in all routine surgical and medical cases. They encourage and support CDP and will consider funding a Certificate for the right individual.
