We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal permanent Veterinary Surgeon on a full or part-time basis to start at a busy, friendly practice in Reading, Berkshire.
The Practice:
In this new practice, our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services.
The Role:
This is a permanent full or part-time position working alongside a small growing team of 1 vet, 1 nurse, 1 care assistant, and receptionist. The role is either 40 hours per week or 20 hours per week, with 1 in 3 weekends. To ensure an excellent work/life balance there are are no out of hours expected.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate would be an experienced vet who is capable of routine soft tissue and emergency surgery and who is comfortable with sole charge.
