We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a full or part-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
The Practice:
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. You will be joining a team of 2 vets, 2 nurses, 1 nursing assistant and a dedicated administration team.
The Role:
Our client is looking for a confident surgeon with general and medical skills, capable of working sole charge at times, and with a strong customer-service focus. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. You will also have the ability to work up cases to a high standard, with the capacity to provide clear and timely documentation of services provided. We are seeking a surgeon who could commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week or full-time work patterns. There is a weekend rota, which the vets cover, and they have an excellent out-of-hours service provider.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be competent with general surgery and emergency procedures. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of their patients.
