We are working with small animal practice in Central Bedfordshire that is looking to recruit an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis. This full-time position would be primarily a surgical role so would suit a vet with a surgical certificate.
The Practice:
This 2 site, tier 3 veterinary hospital aspires to provide gold standard care. They are a 24-hour practice with a dedicated out of hours team. Located in Central Bedfordshire with London only a 50 min train ride away and close to main road connections. They have a full complement of diagnostic and surgical equipment including laparoscopes (with Storz video equipment), bronchoscopes, endoscopes, high-resolution ultrasound, high definition wifi radiology cassette, digital dental radiography, harmonics blades, electrocautery, respirator, orthopaedic plating and drills, intra-operative suction and also currently installing a CT machine.
You will be joining a friendly and experienced team that includes a SAM certificate holder to provide support for imaging and medical/cardiac work-ups. They are supported by a team of qualified RVNs.
The Role:
This is a full-time permanent position to join an ambitious, growing veterinary group that includes a referral practice who will also offer support and CPD funding.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be confident, friendly and a good communicator. They are looking for an experienced surgeon that will preferably have a surgical certificate or is currently working towards one, as this will be a primarily surgical role.
