We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a full-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Romford, Greater London.
The Practice
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. You will join our clients' established team of 6 vets, 6 RVNs, 6 student nurses and 8 receptionists. The location offers fantastic transport links into central London in just 25 minutes and also offers free on-site parking.
The Role:
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious veterinary surgeon on a permanent basis. This role is full time and will include 1 in 6 full weekends and 1 in 6 Saturdays only. This role has only very occasional out of hours, 2 bank holidays worked per year and will include sole charge on any Sundays worked.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be competent with general surgery and emergency procedures. There may be periods of sole charge so you must be comfortable with this.
