We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a full or part-time basis to start at a friendly practice in South East London.
The Practice
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. You will be joining a strong onsite support team consisting of 1 full time and 1 part time vet, 1 veterinary nurse, 1 student nurse, 2 veterinary care assistants and a reception team of 2.
The Role:
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious full or part-time veterinary surgeon on a permanent basis. They can consider full or part time hours with a weekend rota of 1 in 2. There is no out of hours responsibility with this role ensuring a healthy work/life balance.
The Candidate:
You will be confident with all general surgical and medical cases and comfortable with adapting your style to suit a variety of clients. Due to the requirement for some sole charge, you will ideally have a minimum of 1 years’ small animal experience. The Practice is hugely supportive of regular CPD and would welcome a vet with a particular area of interest or plans to study towards certificate level.
