We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a full or part-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Thurrock, Essex.
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. You will be joining an enthusiastic team made up of 1 vet, 1 student nurse, 3 veterinary care assistants, 2 receptionists and a practice manager.
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious full or part-time veterinary surgeon on a permanent basis. They can consider full or part-time hours (4 days per week if full time) with a weekend rota of 1 in 3. There is no out of hours responsibility with this role.
You will be confident with all routine surgical and medical cases and special interests will be welcomed and supported. We are very open to offering financial support for the study towards a Certificate for the right individual. We are seeking a vet who enjoys mentoring and supporting less experienced vets to help them develop to their full potential. You will have clinical freedom and the opportunity to work with a varied and loyal client base, working up cases to a high standard.
