We are working with a small animal practice based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire that is looking for a full-time small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
The Practice is in the lovely market town of Market Harborough. The Surgery has been extensively refurbished providing all the diagnostic equipment required to investigate all first and some second opinion cases. There is ample opportunity to work up a diverse range of cases.
This lovely town with beautiful surrounding villages was listed by the Sunday Times as one of the best places to live in Britain. With rail links to London and the north, as well as road links to the A14, A6 and M1 it has a strong strategic location. The Role:
This is a full-time permanent role for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon. There is in-patient care on a 1 in 8 rota (1 full or one half weekend in 4) You will get 1.5 days back as a long weekend after having worked a weekend.
The Candidate:
You should be a confident surgeon (3+ years experience) with general surgical and medical skills, capable of working sole charge at times, and with a strong customer-service focus. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. You will also enjoy a variety of cases and have the ability to work these up to a high standard. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of your patients. You will also have the opportunity to study towards a certificate as this is strongly encouraged.
