We are currently recruiting on behalf of an independent small animal practice located in the Rochdale area of Lancashire who is seeking a permanent full-time Veterinary Surgeon.
This is an independent, family orientated practice based in Lancashire/Greater Manchester, which has been well established in the area for over 15 years with many of its original clients.
The practice offers a full range of preventative and therapeutic services. They have a full range of operative equipment, X-ray, ultrasound, and blood screening facilities etc. in-house.
They are a very close team with a happy working environment who enjoy giving excellent customer service and lots of cuddles to their patients.
This is a permanent full-time position with fixed opening hours between 10.30 am and 6.30 pm, Monday to Friday. They have no on-call, out of hours or weekends required for this role.
The duties consist of general consultations, basic surgery, bloods, spays etc. Knowledge of the Jupiter Voyager works system would be helpful but not essential.
The practice offers a great opportunity for an experienced vet to join a supportive team and to progress their careers, skills and knowledge.
This role is at a busy practice with a mixed varied caseload.
The ideal candidate would have 2+ years’ experience and have an interest in treating long-term illnesses and oncology. They would be an excellent communicator, can be adaptive, get on with people and be a forward thinker.
In return, the practice will consider all levels of experience with the salary offered between £30,000 - £35,000, negotiable and according to experience. The benefits offered with this role included CPD allowance of £1000 and VDS and BVA fees are paid. This vacancy has the potential of becoming an investment or a partnership.
