We are working with a small animal practice based in Dagenham, Essex that is looking for a full-time small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis. This is a sole charge position, so you must be confident in is type of role, although support is available from neighbouring surgeries within the group.
The Practice:
The practice moved to its current location which was specially refurbished for the needs of the surgery and it's clients and opened in 2009. You will be joining a dedicated passionate team of nurses. The premises include a reception area with air conditioning, two consult rooms, prep room, two operating theatres, x-ray room, laboratory, kennels.
The Role:
This is a full-time permanent role for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon. The working hours are 09.00 19.00 Monday to Friday. 1 in 3 weekends - Saturdays only. There are no out of hours with this role. This is a sole charge position but back-up is on hand from neighbouring surgeries within the group.
The Candidate:
You should be a confident surgeon (3+ years experience) with general surgical and medical skills, capable of working sole charge. You will be passionate about providing excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. You will also enjoy a variety of cases and have the ability to work these up to a high standard. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of your patients. You will also have the opportunity to study towards a certificate as this is strongly encouraged.
