We are currently working with a state of the art, expanding practice, that is looking to recruit an ambitious, forward-thinking, experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team based in Liverpool

The Practice:
Join the team that dares to do things differently! This purpose-built practice with state of the art facilities offers gold standard care and always puts its team and work/life balance first. The team of 5 Vets, RVNs, Student Nurse, Business Managers, Receptionists etc. all share the same values of care and hold the high-quality ethos. The practice has 6 consult rooms, dedicated cat room, large prep room, 3 op theatres, separate dental suite, in-house lab room, digital x-ray, separate cat and dog wards and walk in isolation as well as large, spacious reception and a comfy staff room!  They have a large client base and have the same net promoter score as Apple! The practice has strong team values and offers continuous progression for their team and is highly supportive of certificates, diplomas and further CPD, as well as internal promotions.  The small group of practices are also developing a ‘Internal Referral Network’ between the certificate holders at the practices to provide a comprehensive service in orthopaedics, soft tissue, internal medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, imaging and radiology consultations.

The Role:
This is a permanent full-time post with a varied rota, with hours are between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, shifts are 8-9 hours. 
The weekend rota is 1:4 working Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm with time given back in lieu. The vet rota is created by the vets and approved by the Practice Manager to ensure a fair and equal split of shifts between vets. 

The Candidate:
Our client is looking for a candidate with a minimum 2 years’ post qualification experience. They are looking for a candidate that can act as a mentor and guide to their young and expanding team working as well as work alongside the other highly experienced vets.  The practice is very conscious of their teams’ work-life balance and is extremely supportive of personal development and will support certificates and any other additional qualifications that benefit the candidate and the practice.

To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
