We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a full or part-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. The busy and energetic team includes 1 other Vet, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Trainee Nurse and 3 Receptionists.
Our client is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, ideally full-time, although they will offer part-time for the right candidate. You will have to be an enthusiastic Vet with good surgical and medical skills, enjoy working with a team and constantly strive for high quality patient and client care. You will be confident with occasional Sole Charge and there will be 1 in 2 Saturdays but no out of hours. They are also keen to hear from vets who want to develop the medical side of the practice, Vets who currently hold a certificate in medicine or applicants who would like to develop their medical skills and study for a Certificate.
The ideal candidate will be competent with general surgery and emergency procedures. You will be an excellent communicator with good time management skills.
