We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a full-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Telford, Shropshire.
The Practice
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. The Practice currently consists of 4 Vets,1 Practice Manager, 1 nurse, 3 Veterinary Care Assistants and 4 Receptionists.
The Role:
This is a permanent position for a Veterinary Surgeon ideally on a full time 40 hours per week basis, although our client will consider part-time for the right candidate. The role could suit either an experienced Vet looking for flexibility and a better work/life balance or a recent graduate looking for their first role, or alternatively someone looking to launch their career in the UK. There will be 1 in 4 weekends but no out of hours. They have a very generous CPD offering which they encourage and support their colleagues to undertake.
The Candidate:
This role would suit a confident and ambitious vet with good communication and time management skills. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player and have a passion for delivering outstanding care to your patients, as well as a first-class service to your clients.
