We are working with a lovely practice in the New Mill area of the Peak District that has a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for a motivated vet with at least 3-5 years in practice experience.
The Practice:
This practice has a friendly client base who appreciate the personal service that they provide. The practice has 1 other vet with a support team that is dedicated to their clients and patients.

They also provide ongoing support to all teams, both in practice and through a dedicated training centre. The Role:
This practice works on a 4 day per week rota which gives you the balance to enjoy your home and personal life. Bank holidays are also on a rota basis across the region with time back in lieu for any time worked. With only 1 in 3 Saturdays is required too, it is a very work/life balance rota.
In return, our client is offering an excellent package that includes:
- A very competitive salary of up to £55,000 p/a depending on experience
- Accommodation allowance of £6,600
- Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance
- £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave
- VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
- 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays
The Candidate:
You must be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years' experience in a small animal practice. This role requires a motivated vet to work confidently with the ability to make sound clinical judgments. Strong management and mentor skills are essential as you will play a crucial part within the team.
