We are currently recruiting on behalf of a group of Veterinary practices based in Bradford, West Yorkshire who are seeking a permanent full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their lovely team. The right candidate needs to have surgical competence and also need to be able to carry out consultations and can take sole charge if needed.
The Practice:
The practice was set up in the 1980s and has three branches in West Yorkshire. They strive to provide a high-quality personal service for their clients, and each of their patients is important to them. All the Vets are very well qualified general practitioners, who have a great deal of experience across the small animal spectrum. They are a Tier 3 Hospital and Veterinary Nurse training practice, which provides a high standard of care to pets 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The practice consists of 8 Vets, 14 Nurses, and an excellent support team. The team sees a real mix of animals including lots of exotics and small furries. Our client has well-equipped sites including a state of the art ultrasound machine and EPOC. They are also excited about their fantastic new premises and facilities due to be finished this year.
The Role and Candidate:
This is a full-time permanent role where you will be working 4 days a week with Saturdays on a rota basis. There are no out of hours or Sundays required giving you a great work/life balance.
The right candidate needs to have surgical competence. They also need to be able to carry out consultations and can take sole charge if needed and run a well-equipped branch practice if needed. Good communication skills and willing to move the practice forward are essential. They must be able to work in a team. The right candidate will be able to work closely with the nursing team to provide outstanding inpatient care.
