Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Amersham

Role: Permanent Veterinary Surgeon

Type: Small Animal

Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire

Practice: Exciting, independent, and a growing veterinary group that’s been giving a fresh look to working in the veterinary sector for the past twelve years now. They are not a corporate-focused on profit to the detriment of its clients and staff. With nine practices neither are they a small independent at risk from competition or takeover. They have the security of being a sizeable veterinary group but with the benefits and personal touch of being family-owned. Independent is what they love and how they will remain. 

Role: They need a dynamic, experienced vet to come on board as their clinical lead. Working alongside a part-time surgeon and also a visiting orthopaedic surgeon and it is initially a sole-charge position. 

Hours: Full-time = 4 day week and every other Saturday morning, part-time hours also considered

OOHs: No on-call, no working Sundays, no working bank holidays.

Sole Charge: Yes

Branch Work: No

Salary: Between £40,000-£75,000 p/a salary commensurate with experience and hours

Benefits:

  • Up to six weeks leave in addition to the above.
  • CPD is encouraged with a generous budget.
  • RCVS and VDS fees paid.
  • Staff animals are treated at cost.
