Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Cambridge

Type: Small Animal

Location: Cambridge - within 20-mile commute of Cambridge

Practice Type: Group Practice

Facilities: They have all the usual toys, a fully equipped Idexx-based, lab suite (They love their Idexx Sedivue and UA Analyser, it gives results in 80 seconds!), and five consult rooms. Their clients are dedicated and bonded and want the highest quality people to be looking after their pets. They want diagnoses rather than drugs and are advocates for the practice which is long-established in the area. They are supported with 24-hour provision from Vet24 in Milton, Cambridge.

Team: They have an established and generous support staff team comprising of Practice Manager (RVN), three Client Care Coordinators, 3 Veterinary Surgeons, a Head Nurse with 3 additional Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) and 2 Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs), who form a welcoming and experienced group of people. 

Role: They are looking for an experienced (at least two years’ UK experience) vet to join their family who shares their vision and values.

Hours: They are open to both part-time and full-time applications.

Shifts: This role can be full or part-time, within 1 in 4 weekends, no OOHs or Sundays

OOHS: With no OOH or Sunday work, you are able to enjoy a great work-life balance.
