Job Title: Permanent Veterinary Surgeon

Type: Small Animal

Location: Chatham, Kent

Practice Type: This is a small animal group across the Medway Towns. Their friendly and dedicated team includes specialist surgeons and experts to enable them to provide quality preventive, diagnostic, and medical services so that each pet lives a long and healthy life.

They do this by investing in people and infrastructure to deliver the best care for clients and their pets.

Team: Their current vet team consists of 11 spread over 4 branches (Some of the vets are part-time)

Role: Our client is looking to recruit a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their happy and supportive team on a permanent basis at their 4-branch Vet Group based in Medway Towns, Kent.

Hours:

  • Full-time role (part-time applications considered)
  • 40 hours per week
  • Saturday only weekend rota with time off in lieu (alternate weeks of 9 am-4 pm or 9 am-12.30 pm)
  • No OOH

OOHs/On-Call: None - this is covered by VetsNow

Sole Charge: Yes - some will be required

Branch Work: Possibly

Skills/exp: Our client is looking for a confident Vet who is happy with sole charge work and is surgically confident. You will be a strong team player and happy to support other members of staff as well as ensure that clients are given a friendly service at all times.

Accommodation: Not available at present

Salary: Competitive - Up to £55,000 p/a Dependent on experience
