- Between the 2 sites, there is a large, experienced support team including RVN’s, students and front of house, that play an integral part in day-to-day branch life, including successfully maintaining high team moral.
- Both branches have all the facilities you would expect for first-opinion diagnostics, with the addition of further clinical support from their hospital practice, for any complex referrals you may need to make, and OOH care for your patients.
- You would be fully supported by your dedicated regional manager, and regional head vet who has a wealth of knowledge to pass on and can support you in your clinical management needs.
Role: They are looking for 2 Veterinary Surgeons, one of which is to step into a senior role, who are keen to work between 2 sister branches that are within a 10-minute drive of each other.
Support: Both roles are sole charge and you will be comfortable with routine GP consultations and surgery but ample support is provided by working together and with clinical management support on hand!
Hours:
- They can be flexible options with regard to rota for these positions.
- Both include a branch Saturday rotation and a 1:10 Sunday rotation in the Hospital practice plus 1 bank holiday per year.
- There are no out-of-hour requirements for either role.
Candidate:
- The senior role could be ideal for an ambitious vet who is looking to make their mark on the practice and jump into clinical and business leadership.
- The enthusiastic additional vet will provide integral support with the day-to-day practice caseload and allow them to develop their personal growth.
Salary:
- The Senior Vet salary band is £63,000 to £83,000 (FTE) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role, as they would welcome the opportunity to provide CPD for further clinical or management development.
- For the additional Vet role, the salary band is £42,000 to £58,000 (FTE) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role.
