Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Derby

Location: North of Derby - within a 30 min commute of the city

Practice Type: Independent practice

Facilities: They are a first opinion practice, this means that they provide the same sort of service for your animals that your GP does for you. They are also an RCVS Accredited Practice. Like a GP they can refer your animal to a specialist if necessary. However, their Vets and Nurses have areas where they have received additional training and they can deal with many things that you might expect to have to be referred.

Team: They are a small friendly team and support will be given by their experienced team of vets and nurses with a wide range of knowledge and expertise. 

Role: You will provide first-class care and clinical excellence to patients and exceptional, unrivaled, 5-star service to clients.

Hours:

• The role is a 4 day week with a set day off and 1 in 2 Saturday mornings.
• No other weekend hours or out-of-hours are expected. 
• You get 2 hours blocked out for lunch to allow time for catching up if needed while still giving time for a relax and a sit-down. 

Duties: 15-minute consults as standard with longer given for more complicated cases and euthanasias.

Sole Charge: Limited

Computer System: Vet it

Candidate: You will be a confident and experienced Veterinary Surgeon that is fully registered with the RCVS

Salary: Competitive Salary (DOE)
