​Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Dewsbury

Type: Small Animal

Location: Dewsbury, West Yorkshire

Practice Type: This is a long-established first opinion Small Animal Veterinary Hospital with a fantastic mix of bonded clients.

Services/Facilities: They are able to boast excellent facilities; including on-site CT, dental suite, digital x-ray, and dental x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, endoscopy, excellent anaesthetic monitoring equipment including multiparameter monitors, separate wards for surgical, medical, isolation, cats, exotics and outpatients. With an emphasis on teamwork an excellent support network for new staff members and high standards of both patient and client care.

Role: They are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced all-rounder vet to join a happy experienced team at their Dewsbury clinic

Duties:

  • This would suit someone who enjoys a mix of surgery, imaging, and consulting and would like to work within a large well established veterinary hospital.

  • Ideally, you would enjoy building relationships with clients, and we would encourage you to work up your own cases with onsite support from experienced colleagues.

  • Certification and further qualifications are encouraged.

Hours: Full-time. 40 hours per week and to include Saturday/Sunday rota

Weekends/OOHs: There are no out-of-hours duties as they have a dedicated on-site team but some contribution to weekend days is required.
