Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - East London

We are working with an expanding practice in East London that is looking for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. They are looking for someone who is happy and confident in all aspects of veterinary care and keen to develop relationships with clients.

The Practice:

Our client has been established since the 90s which their main practice being award 'Hospital Status' by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. The group has grown to 21 sites from the Midlands through to London.

The group provides students with financial support, transport, supervised practical sessions, and one-to-one training with a qualified veterinary surgeon or nurse. Without these approved training centres, student nurses would be unable to fulfill their chosen careers. They now employ several veterinary surgeons who have or are studying certificates in ophthalmology, cardiology, exotics, and orthopaedics.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is looking for a friendly, experienced vet to help the expansion of their practice. This busy practice has a varied caseload with motivated clients. The practice is expanding both physically and the team and they are looking for a vet to help lead this period of expansion. You will be well supported by a motivated support team.

They are looking for someone who is happy and confident in all aspects of veterinary care and keen to develop relationships with clients. Providing excellent patient and client is what they strive to achieve and recognise that every client and patient needs to be treated differently. Until the expansion is complete, this will be a sole charge position but will become a two vet practice with the physical expansion.

This is a full-time permanent role, the full details will be discussed in the interview.

The Package:

An excellent package is available to the successful candidate including a salary of £33,000-£50,000 p/a (DOE), 33 days annual leave including bank holidays, Healthcare scheme, pension & CPD allowance (certificate study is funded and supported), RCVS & VDS fees paid.
