Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - East Sussex

Facilities: The practice is based in Hailsham, East Sussex, close to an area of outstanding natural beauty, approximately 7 miles from the coast. It a well equipped with excellent digital X-ray facilities, high-quality ultrasound, dental X-ray, iM3 dental station, and up-to-date anaesthetic monitoring, along with regularly updated, team-driven policies and protocols to ensure standards are met whilst also maintaining job satisfaction. The in-house laboratory includes a full range of IDEXX analysers, Class IV K-laser is used both postoperatively and during VN clinics. Separate cattery, kennel, and isolation areas plus an outdoor exercise area offer excellent inpatient facilities.

Team: They have a dedicated and supportive team and a fantastic practice lead allowing you to concentrate on being a Vet! They strongly encourage people to pursue any specific interests and a big part of the ethos is the belief in further learning for everyone, and they have opportunities to progress into leadership. 

Role: A fantastic opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join the well-established practice. The clinic in East Sussex will give you access to a varied caseload with a mix of both consults and surgery

Hours: Offering a 4-day working week with just 1:4 Saturdays, there are no out-of-hours duties associated with this role. Their flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours truly tips the scale of your work-life balance. They know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and they want to make it brilliantly easy for you to strike the right balance. 

Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum depending on experience.
