We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established practice in Mid Hampshire that is looking for a confident Vet with an exotic bias to join their team. 

The Practice: 

Our client is an established, caring family orientated practice serving mid-Hampshire. The practice provides comprehensive care to clients and their animals, from giant breed dogs to small mammals and exotics. They are privately owned, which enables them to put pet care first and evolve as Veterinary medicine improves. 

Facilities within the practice include Theatre, separate dog and cat wards, CT scanner, laparoscopic surgery, x-ray, endoscope, imaging, ultrasound, and orthopaedic equipment. 

The Role and Candidate: 

This is a full-time role and is to join a team of 50 staff, including 8 FTE Veterinary Surgeons and 18 Nurses. 

The role is a 4.5 day week, working either 8.30-18.30 or 8.30-12.00. 

There is 1 night per week on-call mid-week, with 1:4 weekends.

Weekends are 1:4 working Saturday 9.00-12.00 plus weekend on call. 

To qualify for this role, you must have at least 1 year of relevant experience with an exotic bias. Our client is an exotic referrals site, so although you don't need to have any further exotic qualifications, you must have an interest in this area.
