Permanent Veterinary Surgeon- Falmouth, Cornwall

We are working with a busy small animal practice in Falmouth, Cornwall that is for a friendly and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full or part-time permanent basis. You will be joining a growing friendly practice with a fantastic reputation in the local community.

The Practice:

This practice has a bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery that is purpose-built to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment that includes:

  • Suction
  • Electrocautery
  • Multi-parameter monitoring etc. 
  • Also holds RCVS GP PSS accreditation.

Their aim is to provide elite clinical care that is at the very heart of their community, and they need excellent people to join their friendly and welcoming team to help them to continue to realise this vision.

They are also a GP accredited practice where you will be joining a fast-growing friendly team of 2 vets, 5 nurses, and 4 receptionists.

You will be joining a caring and hard-working team in a well-equipped, 100% small animal GP accredited practice with an Outstanding PSS Award for Client Service. They have genuinely lovely clients and have built a fantastic reputation in the local community.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join them on a permanent basis. Ideally, this would be a full-time role but due to the flexibility within the team, they are happy to consider full and part-time applications.  Full-time applicants will work a 4 day week and, with just 1 in 3 Saturdays no Sundays or OOHs, they can offer a great work/life balance and plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful South Cornwall coastline.

Their ideal new colleague will be friendly, down-to-earth, and have a good sense of humour. You should have experience of working in practice and good medical and surgical skills. They are keen to support particular interests with a generous CPD allowance. You will work alongside an advanced practitioner in small animal surgery and 2 highly experienced small animal vets.

they are looking for someone who is confident and works well under pressure. You will have excellent communication skills, be an effective team player and enjoy the variety within your role.
