Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Holywell

Our client looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to further expand their team of dedicated vets and help increase the services they offer to clients.

Role: Permanent Veterinary Surgeon

Type: Small Animal

Location: Holywell, Flintshire

Practice: Small Animal

Team: Experienced team of 19 consisting of 1 Clinical Director, 1 Deputy Clinical Director, 2 vets, 1 Practice Manager, 1 senior RVN, 3 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 1 senior receptionist, 5 receptionists, and 1 Groomer. 

Facilities: 

  • Digital x-ray equipment at all operating sites
  • Full range of surgical and medical services
  • On-site blood testing and lab equipment and courier service to an external lab that provides more extensive services
  • Visiting specialists in advanced ultrasonography, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, and cardiology
  • Ultrasound

Hours:

  • Full and part-time applications will be considered
  • 4 days per week
  • 8 am-7 pm 
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays (8 am-2 pm)

Sole Charge: No

Branch Work: No

Applicant Requirements: The ideal candidate would enjoy general practice and feel comfortable with all first opinion procedures. New Graduate applications will be considered. You will be supported and encouraged to work to high medical and surgical standards. You must be RCVS registered. A UK driving license would be required to commute between our sites.

Salary: The salary for this role is up to £55,000 depending on experience + up to £5,000 relocation bonus + additional benefits.
