Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Beverley, East Yorkshire

Type: Small Animal

Location: Beverley, East Yorkshire

Practice Type: They are a long-established practice with two clinics, one in the gorgeous market town of Beverley and the other in a traditional seaside town. They appreciate we are not in a central location, but don’t write them off, the location is stunning, and transport links are good! Great local schools and facilities for families.

Facilities: They are involved in the local community and aim to provide modern veterinary care but with traditional values, being a truly independent practice. Their directors are both clinically active vets who are thoroughly invested in practice life and keen to support the whole team to follow their individual interests. They also have some interesting projects in the pipeline! Ideas from the team are encouraged and listened to.

Role:

  • Due to relocation, our client is looking for a recent graduate Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.
  • This role would be ideal for someone with some experience, perhaps 6-18 months, but they can provide support so a confident new graduate is possible.
  • They have two clinics, so a driving license would be very useful.

Hours:

  • The role would be across both clinics ideally, but both are fully kitted out surgeries and their vets are rota'd to work at a specific clinic each day, so there is no being sent to a tiny branch practice after lunch for example!
  • OOH is covered by Vets Now. Their vets are required to be available on their phones one night per week and one weekend in 5, to support the nurses with any stable, nurse-led in patients where they need advice/help. However, they very rarely have in patients, so most of the time there is no OOH work.

Salary: They are offering an offering competitive salary depending on the level of experience

Benefits: The full benefits available will be discussed in the interview
