Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Invergordon

Our client looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to further expand their team of dedicated vets and help increase the services they offer to clients.

Role: Permanent Mixed Veterinary Surgeon

Type: Mixed 80% small animal, 20% large animal (beef, sheep, and first opinion horse work)

Location: Invergordon

Practice: Part of a group

Team: They currently have 6 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, 3 Nurses, and 10 Support staff who are supportive of each other.

Facilities:  

  • Fully equipped practice
  • 24-hour on-call emergency cover
  • Proactive and professional services for farms and smallholdings of all sizes

Hours:

  • Up to 40 hours per week – can consider part-time hours
  • 1:4 weekends on call – with a day off in Lieu
  • 1:4 weeknights on call (covering from 6:30 pm-8 am)

Sole Charge: There will be some sole charge on-call required however it's always with the back-up of our experienced nursing team.

Branch Work: No

Applicant Requirements: Ideally would suit an experienced mixed vet surgeon but would also consider new graduates for this role as full support will be given. Must be RCVS registered, and have the full UK driving license as a company vehicle will be provided.

Salary: 

  • Up to £50,000 negotiable D.O.E
  • Welcome bonus of £2,500
