About them: They are a progressive RCVS-accredited vet practice offering a service of the highest standards for domestic pets, horses, and farm animals. Their RCVS accreditation means that they have satisfied rigorous inspection standards including clinical care, hygiene, 24-hour emergency cover, and staff training. It also ensures that they have many types of diagnostic equipment, such as an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, ECG, and digital x-ray facilities.
They also have separate dog and cat waiting areas and separate dog and cat hospitalisation facilities as well as their own 24-hour emergency cover.
Role: They are currently seeking an additional permanent small animal vet to join their 5 - 6 vet practice who will be supported by a lovely nursing admin team (includes 7 RVNs)
Candidate: They are a friendly independent family-run practice situated in the heart of Worcestershire and whether you are a new graduate or an experienced veterinary surgeon, they are committed to offering support and progression in any areas of interest with assurance and expertise from their team.
Hours: Full-time - 4-day week
A rota of 3 days 9 am-7 pm (with 1-hour lunch and 2 x 20 min tea breaks) plus 1 day 9 am-5 pm with 1 day off
1 in 3 Saturday mornings 9 am-12.15 pm
Part-time positions would also be considered
Fantastic case continuity (they do their own on-call which you can join if you wish, not essential, but greatly appreciated)
Salary: Highly competitive salary of between £34,000-£72,000 p/a (DOE)
