Permanent Veterinary Surgeon, Leamington Spa
We are working with a client with a practice based in Leamington Spa, West Midlands that is looking to recruit a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a full-time permanent basis. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for variety within their role and exposes you to lots of different development opportunities.
Leamington Spa is a beautiful and prosperous town located in the heart of Warwickshire with great links to the M40 (5 miles) A46 (4 miles) and the M45 (11 miles). The train station is also ideally located within half a mile from the surgery making it easily accessible. To reach other practices, Stratford Upon Avon is 13 miles and Coventry is 12 miles.
The surgery is purpose-built to industry-leading standards. Well equipped with an excellent range of diagnostic facilities. the practice includes 3 consult rooms, one operating theatre, a diagnostic suite (with digital X-ray and ultrasound), and comprehensive Idexx In-house laboratory equipment. Separate dog ward, cat ward, and an isolation ward.
The Role and Candidate:
The practice has an expanding, loyal client base, and being a young practice, they are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who will form great interpersonal relationships with existing clients and make a positive impact on the growth of the practice.
You will be joining a team made up of 1 Vet, 1 Head RVN, 4 further RVNs, and 3 CCA’s who strive towards delivering gold standard care to their clients and patients. Good client communication skills, attention to detail, and working well within a team are key to this role. Experience in medicine, surgery including most abdominal surgeries would be ideal.
This is a full-time permanent role where you will be working 3 days per week 9-7 (some sole charge) and 1 in 3 weekends Sat 9-6, Sun 10-4 (sole charge).
