Role: They are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their practice as they grow
Hours:
Full-time, 4-day week, 35hrs
2 consult, 1 inpatient, 1 surgical shift per week
1 in 4 weekends, no sole charge
High ECC, Referral caseload
Duties:
30-minute sick pet consults as standard
Highly experienced, certificate-holding nursing (surgical and in-patient) team support
Be part of their ever-expanding (67 colleague) team, including certificate holder vet support, mental health first aiders and life-coach mentorship in-house support.
First opinion, hospital, OOH Emergency and referral caseload (supporting 15 vets4pets in the region)
Dedicated (separate) night clinical teams
Experienced vet required who can consult and operate with relatively little assistance (this is not a position for graduate vets, or vets with no UK experience in first opinion practice).
Candidate: They are looking for a dynamic and proactive veterinary surgeon with experience in ECC and a solid grounding in medicine as well as surgery. In this role, you will work alongside an advanced certificate holder in soft tissue surgery and will receive training and mentorship as required. While this role will have a surgical bias you will be required to cover 1 consulting shift per week and so will need to be confident with all aspects of general practice.
