Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Leeds, West Yorkshire

We are working with a small animal practice in Leeds, West Yorkshire, that is looking to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis. They will consider full-time, part-time, and fixed-term contracts.

The Practice:

Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose-built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state-of-the-art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, purpose-built dental suite, and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. They also have a purpose-built dental suite and cattery and are an ISFM Gold Standard clinic. They are a lovely, friendly team with great communication, management, clinical support and they work to a gold standard. There are 45 members of their team, which include 7 day and 3-night vets, day and night nurse teams, and supporting day and night VCAs. A typical night team will comprise 1 vet, 1 senior RVN, 2 VCAs, and a receptionist.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to support the existing veterinary team with their complex case-load.

This role is working 40 hours Monday - Sunday, including some weekend work.

To be successful in this role, you will be a dynamic and proactive Veterinary Surgeon with solid medical and surgical skills. Experience in ECC will be essential. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and enjoy the variety the role will bring. If you are keen to develop within your own area of interest, we offer a generous CPD allowance.
