  • They provide a high-end first-opinion service, in a practice that is equipped with advanced facilities, including laparoscopic surgery, orthopaedic equipment, VetSEAL, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, and an in-house laboratory. Their recently refurbished, state-of-the-art clinic ensures an efficient workflow.
  • They handle a large and diverse caseload, supported by many loyal, long-standing clients. They also collaborate closely with the Scottish SPCA and local charities, providing surgeries, consultations, and legal casework.

Team: Their motivated, friendly team consists of 9 Veterinary Surgeons, 14 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Veterinary Care Assistants, and 8 Support Team staff with certificate holders in surgery, ophthalmology, and dermatology as well as the Welfare Lead on the team.

Role: An exciting opportunity has opened up for a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team.

Shifts:

  • Weekdays are 8:30 am - 6:30 pm with 2 hours of protected breaks throughout the day
  • You would have a share in the Saturday 9 am - 4 pm rota. 
  • There are no evening or weekend OOH responsibilities.

Skills/Experience: You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the practice, delivering exceptional care and making a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners. You’ll also have the opportunity to deepen your own professional knowledge. 

Salary: They are offering a competitive salary of up to £60,000 p/a (DOE)
