Practice Type: Group Practice

  • The team currently consists of 3 Vets, 2 Nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse, a Veterinary Care Assistant, and 4 Receptionists.
  • The clinic offers a diverse caseload, a well-equipped practice, and opportunities for professional development, including support for postgraduate qualifications, CPD, and specialized training in areas of interest.
  • Team members have a variety of specialisations, including ultrasonography, cardiology, feline medicine, and internal medicine.

Role: A recently refurbished and modernized veterinary clinic in Maidstone, Kent is seeking a surgically experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team. Under the leadership of a dedicated and experienced owner, the clinic has grown into a dynamic environment focused on delivering exceptional care for pets and their owners.

Hours:

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week on a rota basis).
  • No out-of-hours responsibilities.

Candidate: The ideal candidate will be a confident Veterinary Surgeon with strong surgical and medical skills, comfortable handling a mix of routine and complex cases. You’ll also be able to mentor and support junior vets and guide new graduates as they grow in their roles. If you are passionate about providing outstanding pet healthcare and excellent client service, this is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and supportive team.

Salary: They offer a competitive salary up to £70,000 p/a (based on experience).
