Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Midhurst

Type: Small Animal

Location: Midhurst. West Sussex

Practice Type: Group Practice

Team: They have an experienced qualified nursing team, dedicated receptionists, 1 FT, and 2 lovely PT vets. PM is also an experienced RVN so complete support is provided.

Facilities: They are excellently equipped with a brand new x-ray machine, in-house IDEXX, ultrasound and usual theatre monitoring, and Burtons dental machine. There is plenty of parking at the practice.

Role:

  • They are looking for a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join them.
  • You will be responsible for all clinical decisions and the handling of complaints in respect of your caseload, therefore good leadership skills are required.
  • You will have a varied working day with a mix of surgery and consults. 

Hours:

  • The position is full-time, 4.5 days per week plus 1:3 Saturday mornings.
  • Same shift pattern each week 08:30-18:30 and 09:00-13:00 on a Saturday.
  • No on-call, no OOH, and no Bank Holidays.
  • They are flexible to be able to consider part-time applications for the right individual.

Applicant Requirements:

  • They are looking for a friendly and dynamic vet to help guide the business.
  • They are seeking a Vet that has proven small animal experience post qualification.
  • You will have a real chance to have autonomy with your cases, therefore you will be an effective communicator and have a positive can-do attitude.
