We are working with a very long-standing and friendly small animal veterinary practice in Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Staffordshire that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is looking for a vet with at least 2 years experience of working in a small animal practice.

The practice has a fully supportive team that enjoy lots of laughs and are dedicated to their clients and patients. They have a well-planned layout including a large reception area, two vet consulting rooms, a nurse consulting room, prep and theatre, digital x-ray and ultrasound, well-equipped wards, and lab facilities. Their team of three nurses, patient care assistants, and two other vets will be happy to welcome you to their world and share their enthusiasm.

The Role and Candidate:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced vet to join our client on a full-time permanent basis, where you will be working 39 hours per week over four days with 1:3 full weekends.
You will be joining a friendly team of one other veterinary surgeon one veterinary nurse and a receptionist. Practice facilities include digital x-ray, ultrasound, lab equipment, prep area, and equipped theatre. you will be exposed to a varied and interesting caseload at this clinic.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of small animal practice experience. You must have a client-orientated approach and excellent communication skills, work to a high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to develop this practice further.
The Remuneration Package:
In return, our client is offering an excellent package that includes:
- Salary up to £55,000 p/a dependent on experience
- Accommodation allowance £5,400
- Vehicle or vehicle allowance £2,500
- CPD allowance £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave
- BVS, VDS, RCVS fees paid
- 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
